Terms of Service.The rules we both keep.

Effective 12 October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Sourav Kumar Verma, an individual based in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, who operates SpaceForm (“SpaceForm”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of spaceform.site, the SpaceForm app, and every form hosted on SpaceForm (together, the “Service”).

Please read them carefully. They include a limitation of our liability (section 14), your promise to cover claims caused by your forms (section 15), and how disputes are resolved (section 18).

1. The agreement

By creating an account, upgrading to a paid plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy, which form part of them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

If you use SpaceForm for a company or other organisation, you agree to these Terms on its behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so. “You” then means both you and that organisation.

People who only fill in a form (“respondents”) don’t need an account. Sections 7, 13, 14, 16 and 18 still apply to their use of the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the law that applies to you.
  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You need a working email address: receipts and important notices go there.
  • If you buy a paid plan without an account, paying creates one with the name and email you give at checkout, and these Terms apply to it from then on. Use an email address you own: we send it the link that sets the account's password.
  • Keep your password secure and don't share your account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including what members of your organisation do. Tell us straight away at the address in section 20 if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Each account owns one organisation. As its owner, you decide who joins it and what they can see, and you are responsible for their use of the Service.
  • You may not create accounts by automated means, or create an account if we have previously suspended or terminated yours.

3. The service

SpaceForm lets you build online forms, share them, collect responses, and view and export the results. Some features are only available on paid plans, as described on our pricing page.

We are continually improving SpaceForm. Features marked “coming soon”, “beta” or similar may change, may be withdrawn, and are provided without any commitment that they will be released. Paid plans are sold for the features available at the time of purchase, not for features announced for the future.

4. Plans, billing and renewals

Merchant of record

Paid plans are sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as our merchant of record. When you buy a subscription, you buy it from Dodo Payments, which processes your payment, issues your invoice and collects any applicable taxes. Dodo Payments’ own terms apply to the payment itself. We never see or store your full card details.

Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes. GST or other taxes are added at checkout where they apply. We may change our prices; a change to an existing subscription takes effect from your next billing period after at least 30 days’ notice by email, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise Dodo Payments to charge your payment method for each renewal. You can cancel at any time from Billing. If you cancel at the end of the billing period, you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for and won’t be charged again. If you choose to cancel immediately, your plan ends straight away and the rest of the period is not refunded, except as our Refund Policy says.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays on for 24 hours so you have time to update your payment method. After that, paid features are switched off until the payment succeeds. Your forms and responses are not deleted because a payment failed. If the payment can’t be recovered, the subscription may be cancelled.

Changing plans and seats

  • Upgrading (for example from Pro to Team) takes effect immediately; you are charged the prorated difference for the rest of the current period.
  • Downgrading (for example from Team to Pro) takes effect immediately; the unused part of the higher plan becomes a credit on future renewals of the same subscription. Credit isn't paid out in cash or moved to another subscription.
  • Each plan includes a set number of people, as shown on the pricing page, counting the owner and pending invitations. To move to a plan with fewer people, you must first remove members or cancel invitations so your organisation fits.
  • If your organisation ends up with more people than its plan allows (for example after a cancellation or failed payment), we may limit access for the most recently added members until it fits again.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank: a chargeback on a valid charge may lead to your account being suspended.

The free plan

The free Starter plan is provided at no charge, as available. We may change what it includes, or set reasonable limits on it, with notice.

5. Your content and form responses

You own your content: the forms you create, the files you upload, and the responses your forms collect (“Your Content”). We don’t claim ownership of it.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service for you, to comply with the law, and to enforce these Terms. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a short time in backups.

You confirm you have all the rights and permissions needed to use Your Content with the Service, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights or break the law.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important data. You can export responses as CSV at any time. We take reasonable care to keep data safe but do not promise that it can never be lost.

6. Your duties as a form creator

When your form collects personal data from respondents, you decide what is collected and why. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the GDPR and similar laws, you are the data fiduciary (or controller) for those responses, and we process them on your behalf. You agree to:

  • have a lawful basis for collecting and using the data, and obtain any consent the law requires;
  • tell respondents who you are and how you will use their data, for example by linking your own privacy policy in your form;
  • not collect children's personal data without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian;
  • not collect passwords, payment card numbers, bank credentials, government ID numbers, or health, biometric or other sensitive data unless the law allows it and you have adequate safeguards;
  • respond to your respondents' requests to access, correct or delete their data;
  • keep the data no longer than you need it, and comply with every law that applies to your forms and how you use the responses.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle the data we process for you.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service, or let anyone else use it, to:

  • phish, or collect passwords, login details, one-time codes or payment card details under false pretences, or impersonate any person, brand or organisation;
  • commit or promote fraud, scams, pyramid schemes, or deceptive practices;
  • host or collect content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, harassing, hateful or discriminatory on grounds such as religion, caste, gender or ethnicity, or that encourages violence, money laundering or gambling;
  • publish anything that is harmful to children, or that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, public order, or friendly relations with foreign states;
  • infringe any patent, trademark, copyright or other intellectual property right, or anyone's right to privacy;
  • spread malware, or deliberately false or misleading information;
  • send spam or unsolicited messages, or collect people's data without their knowledge;
  • interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service, probe or test its security without our written permission, or get around its limits, plan restrictions or access controls;
  • copy, scrape, resell or sublicense the Service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
  • break any law, or help anyone else do any of these things.

We may remove content or forms, or suspend accounts, that we reasonably believe break this section, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

8. Payments collected through forms

Paid plans can add a payment question to a form, which charges respondents through the creator’s own Stripe or Razorpay account. That money goes directly to the creator. SpaceForm is not a party to those transactions, does not hold the funds, and is not a payment service, marketplace or seller of the creator’s goods or services.

The creator is solely responsible for what they sell, its price, delivery, taxes, receipts, refunds, chargebacks and disputes, and for complying with their payment provider’s terms. Respondents should contact the creator about any payment made through a form.

9. AI features

Paid plans include AI features that draft forms, suggest edits and logic, and ask respondents follow-up questions. These features are powered by a third-party provider (OpenAI), and what you or your respondents enter is sent to it to generate the result, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Review it before you publish or rely on it. You are responsible for the forms you publish, including anything the AI wrote. Don’t enter information you aren’t allowed to share with a third party.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on, and links to, services run by others, such as Google sign-in, Dodo Payments, Stripe, Razorpay and OpenAI. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of them. We are not responsible for third-party services, and an outage or change on their side may affect the features that depend on them.

11. Our intellectual property

SpaceForm, its software, design, templates, logos and brand belong to us and our licensors, and are protected by law. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may use our templates to build your own forms. Nothing else is transferred to you.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using SpaceForm at any time and ask us to delete your account. Cancel any paid subscription first; deleting your account doesn’t refund the current period except as our Refund Policy says.

We may suspend or terminate your account, or remove forms or content, with or without notice, if you break these Terms, fail to pay, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if the law or an authority requires it. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem or export your data first. If we stop offering the Service entirely, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and a pro-rata refund of any prepaid, unused fees.

When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends, and we will delete Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections 5 (licence for retained copies), 8, 9, 11 and 13 to 19 survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, that data will never be lost, or that it will meet your requirements.

We offer no guaranteed uptime or service levels unless they are set out in a separate written agreement signed by us. We don’t review forms made by creators and aren’t responsible for them, for the responses they collect, or for how creators use those responses. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain disclaimers, so some of these may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, even if we were told they were possible;
  • our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) US$50;
  • we are not liable for content created or collected by creators, for payments made through forms, for the acts of third-party services, or for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer that the law does not allow to be waived.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SpaceForm and Sourav Kumar Verma from any claims, damages, losses, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: Your Content; your forms and how you collect, use or share responses; payments collected through your forms; your breach of these Terms or of any law, including data-protection law; or the actions of members of your organisation. We will tell you about such a claim and may choose to take part in our own defence.

16. Reporting content and grievances

For content that creators publish through SpaceForm, we act as an intermediary under India’s Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. To report a form that is unlawful, fraudulent, phishing, infringes your rights or breaks section 7, or to raise any complaint about the Service, contact our Grievance Officer at souravkumarverma56@gmail.com with the form’s link and the reason.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days, and act on lawful orders from courts and government authorities within the time the law requires.

17. Changes to the service and these terms

We may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel and ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused part of your current period.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you don’t agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first: we will try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can’t, the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

19. General

  • Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability: if any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and that part is enforced to the maximum extent allowed.
  • No waiver: not enforcing a right right away doesn’t mean we give it up.
  • Assignment: you may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of SpaceForm, with notice to you.
  • Force majeure: neither of us is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, outages of internet or hosting providers, war, or government action.
  • Notices: we send notices to the email address on your account; you send them to the address in section 20.
  • Relationship: nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship between us.
